Marie Tollon-Everett is a French-American educator, writer and curator currently based in Northern California. She has worked in programming, project management and audience engagement in a number of cultural and educational organizations in France and in the US, including at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance in New York and the Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine-Saint-Denis in Paris. In 2007, she became the inaugural manager of the Lycée Français de New York's newly-built 450-seat Cultural Center, where she curated, oversaw and promoted a program of live performances, lectures, and film screenings. From 2014 to 2019, she was the resident writer at ODC Theater in San Francisco, where she also served as a programming associate. She has taught at a number of schools and universities, including The New School, the Brearley School and Dartmouth College. She holds degrees from the Université de Toulouse (MA) and Dartmouth College (MA) as well as certifications from the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, the Integral Yoga Institute and the California School of Herbal Studies.
